MPP is delighted to be a part of a large-scale high-performance computing project. or Supercomputer to develop science technology and innovation with a Supercomputer System, the highest efficiency in ASEAN of the NSTDA Supercomputer Center ThaiSC which is one of National Science and Technology Infrastructure.
MPP presents Hewlett Packard Enterprise HPEs best supercomputer system the HPE Cray EX supercomputer. The latest Generation (3rd) of AMD EPYC™ CPU (Milan) with 496 CPUs/ 31 744 cores and a 704 NVIDIA A100 GPU with a peak performance of 13 Petaflop. It is the highest computing efficiency in Southeast Asia according to the Supercomputer Performance Rankings by top500.org and the capability is up to 30 times higher than the NSTDAs existing high-performance computing system (TARA system). The liquid cooling is best-in-class electrical power efficiency (PUE) with the Cray ClusterStor E1000 high-speed storage with a total capacity of 12 petabytes connect with HPE Slingshot Interconnect at 200 gigabits per second (Gbps). This system is supervised by a Thai People Team and build a knowledge base of High-Performance Computing (HPC) in Petascale systems for the country. The installation is expected to be complete and ready for use in 2022.
